These items are components from various standard rations of the Waffen SS as produced by various
companies under the supervision of the WVHA (Wirtschafts Verwaltungs Hauptamt--Economic and Administrative Central Office
of the SS). These items stem from the Marschverpflegung (marked with "M"), the Eiserne Ration (Marked with "E") and the
Nahkampfpackung (The Fruit Bars currently only available in the full set)

Waffen SS Tinned Pork ("Pökelfleisch")
"E" & "M"
This is a 300 gram tin of Pork Loaf (similar to Spam) as found in various SS rations. Even though the Wehrmacht
did not paint their tins, the SS tins of various sizes received a dull laquer coat to rustproof the low-grade steel of the
tins, as the rations were expected to last well in extreme conditions. Tin bears the standard war-time label identifying the
manufacturer and the WVHA Amt BI /2 office.

Waffen SS Leberwurst Tin (Liver Pate) "E" & "M"
This is a 100 gram tin of Liver Pate as found in various SS rations. Even though the Wehrmacht did not paint
their tins, the SS tins of various sizes received a dull laquer coat to rustproof the low-grade steel of the tins, as the
rations were expected to last well in extreme conditions. Tin bears the oddly located (on the lid) paper label identifying
the manufacturer and the WVHA Amt BI /2 office.

100gram pack. Each pack contains 100 grams of hard nutritious biscuits sealed inside a cello wrapper, which in
turn is wrapped in the official WVHA Amt BI /2 (Office of the SS in charge of troop ration procurement) gray wrapper with
white label.

Waffen SS Milchkaffee (Soluble Coffee with Milk) "M" & "E"
These packs each contain two cello-wrapped servings of soluble (instant) coffee and milk powder, a favourite
energy drink with German forces in WW2. You get one buff-coloured envelope properly labeled with the manufacturer's markings
and WVHA control information. Instructions are in German, but boil down to: "Contains two bags of Milk-Coffee. Pour contents
of one bag into 12 ounces of hot water."
